Sreelakshmi is the youngest poetess who has published a book named 'How Far We Have Come' which contains 51 poems at the tender age of just 8 years and 9 days
Writing is the best tool of self expression and it helps you to un-layer soul. Writing makes you the gold miner in the mine of thoughts where the writer digs a bit deeper. When someone writes a book, its more of the book re-writing the person as a whole new human being. One such transformation has happened with the youngest kid Sreelakshmi Rijesh who has become the youngest poetess to publish a poetry book at the tender age of just 8 years and 9 days and the title of the book is 'How Far We Have Come which contains more than 51 poems. World Book of Records, London takes pride in including such little wonder in its Kids edition-2022.
Sreelakshmi had always had greater inclination towards watching educational videos, fantasy movies, rhymes and fairytales etc. She was very much interested in listening stories and science books which her mother used to read for her while she was 3 -4 years old. Her focus and attention span came naturally to her. While she was in her kindergarten, she used to narrate some rhythmic line/thought that comes in her mind to her mother, and she started writing in a book. Then slowly Sreelaksmi started started writing herself. Most of her writing came into full swing during covid pandemic lock down period of 2020. Both the parents took active part in helping her write the book. While Rijesh Sreedharan (her father) is Project Manager and Sreela Rijesh (mother) is Child counselor (freelance).
She has a wide range of interests which she keeps on exploring like Playing piano, coding, drawing, painting, listening music. Currently she is in grade 3. She is excellent in academic and categorised as gifted and talented. Her favourite subject is science and she aspires to become scientist. Her favourite authors are J.K.Rowling and Sudha Murthy.
This little bright star has plans ahead to write her next book. Her second book is named "Before it's too late" in August 2022 which comprise of 85 poems. World Book of Records, London wishes her all the very best.
