Lucknow : Raj Bhavan - Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) India has been recorded by World Book of Records, London for its initiative “Padhe Lucknow Badhe Lucknow” Mission Organized by Raj Bhavan of Uttar Pradesh and coordinated by University of Lucknow for simultaneously Book Reading from 11.00 am - 11.45 am with the participation of 9,72,125 students across 2,278 institutions in the district of Lucknow on 01st October 2019 at Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) India. The initiative was organized due to the great vision of our Honorable Governor Smt. Anandiben Patel. The Vice -Chancellor of Lucknow University, Prof. S.P. Singh who was the Nodal Officer of this. Dr. Ashok Chandra (Special Secretary to the Governor), Mr. Dev Pratap Singh (Special Secretary, Basic Siksha), Mr. Keyur C. Sampat, OSD - Education, Rajbhavan and Prof. Anil Mishra (Director, University Data Resource Center) played significant role in setting this world record. The event was adjudicated by Mr. Yogesh Mohan Gupta (Chancellor, IIMT University, Meerut), Mr. Rajesh Shukla (Adjudicator, World Book of Records), Dr. Pradeep Mishra (Adjudicator, World Book of Records), Mr. Sanjay Panjwani (Adjudicator, World Book of Records), Shree Swami Sarang (Spiritual Guru), Mr. Vijay Shukla (Senior Journalist). Having had adjudicated the event of Padhe Lucknow Badhe Lucknow, the team of World Book of Records visited Raj Bhavan and congratulated to Hon'ble Governor Smt. Anandiben Patel for setting new record. On being recognized by World Book of Records, London (UK), Smt. Anandiben Patel (Hon'ble Governor, Uttar Pradesh) and Prof. S.P. Singh (Vice Chancellor of Lucknow University) were congratulated by Shri Virendra Sharma (Member of Parliament, England) and other dignitaries from international scenario.
