NTR District Sets Record with 7,500 Clay Ganesha Idols on Ganesh Chaturthi

Andhra Pradesh – In a remarkable display of devotion and community effort, the district administration and local citizens of NTR District came together on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi to hand-craft more than 7,500 eco-friendly clay idols of Lord Ganesha.
 
This extraordinary initiative has earned global recognition, being officially included in World Book of Records. A certificate of recognition was formally presented by WBR Chartered Officer Dr. U. Eliyazar to the district in a special ceremony graced by prominent dignitaries including State Cabinet Minister Satyakumar Yadav, Member of Parliament Kesineni Sivanath, Police Commissioner Rajasekhar Babu (IPS), District Collector Dr. G. Lakshmisha (IAS), Municipal Commissioner H.M. Dhyan Chandra (IAS), and MLA Bonda Uma.
 
Hon’ble Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Adv. Santosh Shukla, CEO World Book of Records extended their best wishes and congratulations, lauding the citizens and administration of NTR District for their collective commitment to culture, tradition, and environmental sustainability. They noted that this initiative not only celebrates the true spirit of Ganesh Chaturthi but also spreads awareness about eco-friendly practices that safeguard the environment for future generations.
