Maharaja Dr. Karan Singh, Senior Politician and Philosopher of New Delhi. Significantly, Dr. Karan Singh is a member of India’s Upper House of Parliament, the Rajya Sabha. He was born heir apparent to the then ruler of the state of Jammu and Kashmir and served successively as regent, Sardar-i-Riyasat and governor of the state.
