Hyderabad, India – Telugu cinema icon Nandamuri Balakrishna has been honoured by World Book of Records UK, marking his extraordinary achievement of completing 50 years in the film industry. With this distinction, he becomes the first Telugu actor to receive such an international recognition.
The felicitation ceremony was held in Hyderabad, where the official certificate was presented by Adv. Santosh Shukla, CEO World Book of Records, along with WBR Director Dr. Suchita Shukla and WBR Chartered Officers Dr. Rajeev Shrivastav and Dr. U. Eliyazar.
The ceremony was graced by several eminent personalities, including Bandi Sanjay Kumar (Central Minister), Nara Lokesh (Minister for Human Resources Development of Andhra Pradesh), Jayasudha (Actress), Usman Khan (Bollywood Music Director), Raneesh Perambra, and Balakrishna’s family member Tejaswani, Brahmani Nara and wife of CM Chandrababu Naidu.
