World's largest chain of women holding hands

Baroda Cricket Association of Vadodara (India) Bags World Record title 'Largest Chain of Women Holding Hands (Shakti Chakra)

Under the aegis of Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) and The Baroda Cricket Association (BCA), three matches of ODI series have been organized between India and Australian women cricket teams at Reliance Cricket Stadium.
 

On this occasion, 2416 sportswomen have made the largest chain of holding hands to form a circle (Shakti Chakra) around the stadium ground to underline the message of Woman Empowerment and awareness for Breast Cancer. This Shakti Chakra has been included in World Record.

The certificate of world record has been  bestowed to The Baroda Cricket Association (BCA) by Mr. Santosh Shukla, Advocate (President, World Book of Records), Mr. Vikram Trivedi (High Court Advocate and Educationist) in the gracious presence of dignitaries and members of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and officials of Aakrirti Events.
