Chennai: Stand-Up Paddler & Athlete A. Sathish Kumar of Chennai (Tamil Nadu)  has been included by the World Book of Records for being the first to perform Stand up paddling from Dhanush Kodi (Rameshwaram) India to Thalaimannar, Sri Lanka and return to Dhanush Kodi (Rameshwaram) India starting from 17 March 2023 at 9 am to 18 March 2023 at 12 pm. The certificate of the World Book of Records was bestowed to Stand-Up Paddler & Athlete A. Sathish Kumar by Anurag Thakur (Union Cabinet Minister, Govt. of India).
