Virendra Vikram Singh From Balrampur Sets World Record

Mr. Virendra has created the world record for performing Rubber Neti (Yogic Shathkarm) continuously for 1 minute

Vedic scriptures and holy Geeta describe the human life by dividing it into four parts, which are known as aashrams. They are student/learner's life, married life, family life and detached life spans. Every individual has to go through these four phases of life. Now to stand apart, one has to strive to make these stages meaningful. To add meaning to these stages, one has to imbibe the sense of servitude and balance. Life of Mr. Virendra Vikram Singh- Retired Branch Manager (SBI) has been the same. He has not just dedicated his life in teaching and practicing yoga, he has also set various milestones in his yogic practices every year. This 2021, Mr. Virendra Vikram Singh has performed a yogic kriya with rubber cathedral inserting in his nose and then taking out 19 times, in span of just 1 minute. His patience and persistence has resulted in such high spiritual undertaking and is something to be astonished of. World Book of Records, London admires the spirit of Mr. Virendra and his inclination to serve the society free of cost by teaching Yoga. WBR includes him in its India edition-2021.

Mr. Virendra's journey of yoga dates back to the era of 1968 where his father suffered from some ailments for which he was taken to Aaroygya Niketan – a herbal cure centre in Gorakhpur. Mr. Virendra got a 15 days training from there and bought a book along with him. It is when he began reading the book, the revolution took birth inside him and since then he has been practicing yoga and also began taking free yoga sessions in his bank. Till 2014, which was the time of his retirement, Mr. Virendra kept on practising and preaching yoga at his bank, but post retirement, his reach expanded to his own city and he never hesitated in training anyone free of cost. He has been an esteemed guest invited at various schools and colleges in Balrampur.

Due to his persistence, Mr. Virendra reached to the pinnacle of his practices where he began establishing records after records in Yoga since 2018. In 2018, he made his first record by performing 18 different types of sheershasanas. He made a total of 5 records in 2019, 7 records in 2020 and 2 records in 2021. His previous record is about performing sheershasana for 1 hour.

Mr. Virendra has always been a single man army and has never shied away from performing his societal duties and has always been on toes to teach Yoga and has brought phenomenal changes in people's lives. His current record of inserting rubber cathedral in nose for 19 times has boosted to 23 times in a minute by regular practice. With breaking and creating records every year, Mr. Virendra is all set to be on a divine yogic juncture in upcoming times.
