Rahul Sharma, born in India raised in Hong Kong, achieved a remarkable milestone by becoming the fastest man to run from the northernmost point of Sri Lanka to its southernmost tip between 24 December and 30 December 2025. Rahul began his run at Sakkotai capein the Jaffna District, Northern Province, the northern edge of the island, and pushed relentlessly southward until he reached Dondra Head in the Matara District, Southern Province. Covering the entire length of the country in just six days, his run demanded extraordinary physical stamina, mental resilience, and unwavering focus.
The challenge was far more than a test of speed. Running day after day across changing terrain, climate, and conditions required discipline, careful planning, and sheer willpower. Each kilometre symbolised perseverance, as Rahul overcame fatigue and physical strain while maintaining the pace needed to achieve this historic feat.
