Prominent Scholar Dr. Tharupeedikayil Seethy Shailaja, Doha, Qatar gets included by World Book of Records

For the first-ever theorizing researched assumption of the Edakka: “Exploring the Universal Essence within the Microcosm” Unveiling the Sacred Symbol and its Multifaceted Representation of Universe, Anatomy and Energy System on 21 March 2024.

London: World Book of Records has announced that Prominent Scholar Dr. Tharupeedikayil Seethy Shailaja, Doha, Qatar has been included by the World Book of Records for the first-ever theorizing researched assumption of the Edakka: “Exploring the Universal Essence within the Microcosm” Unveiling the Sacred Symbol and its Multifaceted Representation of Universe, Anatomy and Energy System on 21 March 2024.The digital certificate was presented to  Dr. Tharupeedikayil Seethy Shailaja by World Book of Records. Significantly, The Edakka, an ancient percussion musical instrument also categorized as a string instrument, is revered for its divine and sacred status. The term suggests its traditional hanging position, symbolizing the intermediary role of humans between heaven and earth. Also referred to as Idakka or Edaykka, its root word is believed to have originated from the Damaru, an instrument associated with Lord Shiva (a power drum, and when played, it is believed to generate spiritual energy). Mainly originating from Kerala, South India, it holds a significant place in the Panchavadyam ensemble, which involves the play of five musical instruments. On being recognized by the World Book of Records, Dr. Tharupeedikayil Seethy Shailaja was congratulated by the Central Working Committee of the World Book of Records and other dignitaries from the international scenario.
