Kathmandu, Nepal – Nepal Women Wrestling Foundation led by Bhagwati Khadka Unika,has been officially included in the World Book of Records for organizing highest womens wrestling match between Bhagwati Khadka Unika and Dani Mo from USA at an altitude of 5644 metres at Kalapathar, Mount Everest Region on 29 May 2024.
This historic recognition celebrates her extraordinary achievement of organizing and performing wrestling at the iconic Everest Base Camp, one of the highest and most challenging locations in the world. This inclusion in the World Book of Records marks a proud moment not only for Nepal’s wrestling community but for entire wrestling fraternity.
This accomplishment symbolizes courage, determination, and the rising strength of women in sports. As a leader and pioneer, Bhagwati Khadka continues to inspire young women globally to break barriers and pursue excellence in athletics.
