Devend’s journey commenced since the age of 4 years when his parents observed that Devend was able to remember many things like new words, songs, movie scenes and never forget once memorized. As days went along, his photographic memory reached to an exceptional level.
When the whole world was facing the flak of lockdown, there were few families who made the best of this duration. This turned out to be the eureka moment for the parents and they started keeping him busy in various activities like drawing, art & craft and introduced him to Rubik’s Cube. He learned how to solve cubes, Now, he can solve all different types of Cubes like 3x3, 2x2, Pyramix, 4x4 & Mirror Cube within record breaking time. He also got awarded for the same.
He was made to channelise his excellence. His parents decided to take it forward at next level and they placed him in Kids Brain Academy, Abacus and Vedic Maths Training Institute, Pune on 23rd November 2022 to learn Abacus, with the guidance of abacus teacher Mrs.Pallavi Thite. Devend proved his mettle once again and started completing the Abacus levels effortlessly. His mother became more active and started taking extra efforts and that is how the saga of making the record began.
