Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir included in World Book of Record for 15 diverse Basketball Drills

Muscat, Oman – The Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir International has etched its name in the annals of history by achieving a prestigious recognition in the World Book of Records. On 18th January 2025, the school successfully organized the largest mass participation of 250 individuals performing 15 diverse basketball drills within a span of 60 minutes at the Indian School Wadi Kabir [Cambridge] Ground, Muscat.

This landmark tournament showcased the unity, skill, and dedication of students, coaches, and staff, coming together to set an extraordinary benchmark in the world of sports. The drills, designed to test agility, teamwork, and precision, were meticulously planned and executed to perfection, captivating the audience with their energy and synchronization.

The official World Book of Records certificate was presented to the school’s Principal, D.N. Rao, by a distinguished panel of representatives, including Dr. Tithi Bhalla, Dr. Shama Hussain, Palash Shukla, and Dr. Maheboob Kureshi. The ceremony was graced by Khalfan Saleh Al Naabi, President of the Oman Basketball Association, who attended as the Chief Guest.

In his address, he praised the school’s efforts in fostering a spirit of sportsmanship and applauded the students for their exemplary teamwork and discipline.
