Indore: Barrister Santosh Shukla has announced that Dr. Varun Kapoor, IPS (Additional Director General of Police, Madhya Pradesh)India has been included by World Book of Records for doing Wildlife Photography in maximum number of National Parks across 04 continents.
The Certificate was presented to Dr. Varun Kapoor, IPS (Additional Director General of Police, Madhya Pradesh) by HH Shri Rajrajeshwar Guruji (Renowned Spiritual Leader, International Siddhashram Shakti Centre, Harrow, United Kingdom) and Mr. Simon N. Ovens DL (HM The King Charles III Representative, Deputy Lieutenant for the London Borough of Harrow, United Kingdom) along with other dignitaries. Significantly, Dr. Varun Kapoor is a senior IPS officer. He has done his BE (Honours) Mechanical Engineering from NIT Trichy (Tamil Nadu). He joined India Police Service in 1991 and was allotted Madhya Pradesh Cadre. He is currently ADGP, Rustamji Armed Police Training College, Indore. He did a special project that was being delivered across the country in 6 leading tiger reserves. This project is called “CYBER CLAW” and is being coordinated by the National Tiger Conservation Authority of the Ministry of Environment & Forests of the GOI. He is also a regular faculty at premier training institutions of the country. Dr. Kapoor has done extensive research in the field of cyber crime, cyber security, social media, mobile usage etc. His studies have been published in numerous national journals. He is the first police officer in Asia to be awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Cyber Security.
Mr. Shukla briefed that Certificate of Record (CoR) is an authenticated document of the certification division of World Book of Records Limited which is bestowed upon a person, place or thing with maintaining specific standards to serve in a concerned field or respected area of activities.
