Baby Samaira from Faridabad, (Haryana) India gets included by World Book of Records

Samaira is the youngest kid to identify the position and name chessmen on the chessboard at the age of 2 years and 2 months. Chess is a great indoor game that many of us enjoy. A Chess lover will always relate to what it is like to be able to defeat the opponent. It is considered to be one of the creative and competitive competitions today. Chess players generally have a calm nature and focus mentally. Research says that chess elevates analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. It has become a part of the modern culture to excel in chess. Samaira Shandilya from Faridabad, Haryana sets a world record for identifying the position and name chessmen on the chessboard at the age of 2 years and 2 months. Samaira proved that she is no less of a genius and that age is just a number. Proper training and practice can easily help an individual to achieve anything they want. The accuracy she showed while identifying the chess pieces makes her stand apart. This is just the beginning for Samaira as she has a long way to go and she can make it to the top list of chess players someday with her sharp mind. Samaira’s sharp memory helped her set a world record and made it to the Kid’s Edition London 2021. Samaira’s father Mr. Sumit Shandilya started training her at the age of 1 year and 8 months. He used to show her and tell the names of the pieces. Samaira used to repeat after him. Samaira’s father says that she took roughly a month to memorize the positions of the chessmen on the chessboard. This not only shows how intelligent Samaira is but also her father who had such a vast mindset to train his daughter at such a young age. It is his belief that made Samaira set a world record. She is blessed to have him as her father. It is well known that the 2-year-old Genius will achieve the most difficult goal of her life as chess is a game that trains one’s mind to solve hard-to-grasp situations and problems. Samaira’s homeschooling is on. She is being homeschooled by her parents and is going to begin her pre-nursery in a month. Samaira’s father believes that she will become a chess champion and a well-known chess player someday. Samaira with her strong memory raised everyone’s expectations and all are waiting for her to grow and reach the peak of success as a chess player.
