India: Baby Aradhana. A gets included by World Book of Records for having sharp memory to identify all elements of the Periodic Table, flags of 195 countries, capitals of 195 countries,17 Reptiles and Amphibians, 20 Domestic animals, nine animals of Hindu Gods and other things at the tender age of 3 years, 8 months and 2 days. It is said that the mother is the first teacher of every child. But what if the mother remains the only teacher till the child turns 4. Little Aaradhana's success story vouch proofs the fact that there is no greater teacher than the mother. Keenly interested in reading and writing, little Aaradhana of just 4 years and 9 months is the child prodigy who has set several records in reading and writing and reciting and all this she learned and achieved by her mother, who was her only teacher. Due to the ongoing dark times of pandemic, Aaradhana could not be sent to a formal school and was just home-schooled all this while by her mother. The little wonder not just reads children books, but also writes lower and upper case sentences in both Hindi and English, writes numbers till 300, recites tables up to 5, does additions and subtractions (2 digits), knows all the Prime Ministers (post-independence), Presidents of India post-independence, knows capitals of all Indian states and knows national symbols. This is not the end, the little genius also knows periodic tables, world continents, flags of all countries, rhymes, devotional Hindu mantras (7) and basic general knowledge of acronyms, actions, rainbow colors, wild and domestic animals, animal sounds, names of transport, computer and its parts, solar system, parts of body and names of bones. Aaradhana's virtues of a good learner began showing at the age of just 1 year 10 months. She was featured on a talent show with a gold medal and secured a certificate for the same. The talent show was organized by a group of schools in Chennai. With her mother's teaching, little Aaradhana has been promoted to upper kindergarten, after one year of lower kindergarten online classes. Her mother taught her from the age of 2.8 years through flashcards and books. Aaradhana loves football and cycling. She is wonderful at mathematics and her mother dreams of making her the remake of the legendary Ms. Shakuntala Devi. Her mother and father, who are physiotherapists and surgeons respectively by profession, have not planned anything in particular for the little wonder, but her mother is not leaving any stone unturned to impart every possible knowledge she can. Aaradhana is a wonder kid with a wonderful inclination for learning.
