World Book of Records, London (U.K.) Bestows Certificate of Record to Rajkot District Administration for largest disbursement of aids and appliances to divyangs. Rajkot: In the jam-packed gathering, World Book of Records, London (U.K.) has marked Rajkot District Administration of Gujarat State under the title of World’s largest disbursement of aids and appliances to divyangs. On this occasion, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi distributed aids and assistive devices to disabled persons at a function held at Race Course ground Rajkot, making it the biggest ever camp in the country in terms of beneficiaries (18,000).
The certification of the world record was handed over to Dr. Vikrant Pandey, Collector, Rajkot and Shri C G Pandya Deputy Collector by Advocate Ashwinbhai Trivedi (Gujarat Head, World Book of Records) and Ms. Surbhi Kaul (Vice President World Book of Records, India). On being bestowed the record certification, Dr. Vikrant Pandey, Collector, and Shri C G Pandya Deputy Collector was congratulated by Shri Virendra Sharma(Member of Parliament, England), Dr. Diwaker Sukul (Chairman, World Book of Records, UK) and Shri Santosh Shukla Advocate(President, World Book of Records).
