Gandhinagar: Team ICDS, Women and Child Development Department Government of Gujarat, India has been included by the World Book of Records for organizing a mass program of ‘Hand Washing at 5000 (Five thousand) places in Gujarat including 5,00,000 Women as 100 women at each place to educate women on how to wash their hands and maintain Government guidelines during Covid pandemic on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti - 02 October 2020. Shri Vijay Rupani (Chief Minister of Gujarat) has bestowed the certificate to Shri Ganpatbhai Vasava (Cabinet Minister, Government of Gujarat), Smt. Vibhavariben Dave (Minister of State, Government of Gujarat).
