R C Singh (Chairman, B.P. Marine Academy) of Navi Mumbai gets felicitated for espousing youth welfare cause

India: Shri R.C. Singh, Chairman B.P. Marine Academy of Navi Mumbai (Maharashtra) India has been honored by World Book of Records for his matchless contribution in promoting cause of Marine Education, Youth Empowerment and Social Welfare. Significantly, BPMA has achieved the height of success under the ablest guidance of Shri R.C.Singh Chairman, Ex. Chief Engineer Merchant Navy Mr. Singh, aged 67 years, graduated in B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering from Sambalpur University Odisha, served 17 years in merchant navy up to the rank of Chief Engineer. He is dynamic & Innovative in approach, blending Indian tradition with modern needs of training being reflected in this academy. Besides, merchant navy training, he is well connected with religious and charitable organizations. Mr. Singh has been awarded Ram Charitra Manas Award by All India Port Labor Association and Excellency Award 2003 by Lions Club, CBD Belapur. Under his philanthropic activities, the Institute has provided more than rupees 27 crores as financial assistance to the economically weaker section of mankind.
