New Delhi: World Book of Records has announced that Sahitya Akademi, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, New Delhi, India has been adjudicated by World Book of Records for organizing the Largest Reading Relay by Writers/Poets in Multiple Languages on a Single Day at Meghdoot Open Theatre, Rabindra Bhavan, New Delhi, India, on 13th March 2024. The certificate was bestowed by Prominent Lyricist of Bollywood Gulzar bestow the certificate of World Book of Records, United Kingdom to K. Sreenivasarao Secretary, Sahitya Akademi along with prominent dignitaries and Ms. Shylajal an official of World Book of Records. Significantly, Sahitya Akademi, India's National Academy of Letters is the central institution for literary dialogue, publication and promotion in the country and the only institution that undertakes literary activities in 24 Indian languages, including English.
