London: PIIM & Kirotech of Klang (Selangor) Malaysia has been included by World Book of Records for organizing "International SCRATCH Competition" in conjuction with My Digital Maker-Virtual Fair in Malaysia, where this competition has been an international level coding competition online. With the participation of more than 100 countries, the total number of participants numbered to 4158, while making it a grand event. The certificate of record was digitally presented to Thiwagar Muniandy (Founder) by officials of World Book of Records. Significantly, PIIM & Kirotech are the organizations, which has been primarily instrumental in providing top-notch strategies and executing diverse program nationwide in STEM- Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. While the age of participants ranged between 07 years to 25 years, the organization claims to have changed lives of more than 24,000 netizens through their programs. The major objective of the competition was to provide a virtual launchpad to countries' kids for coding and especially to 2nd and 3rd world countries, where they can get an international identity by taking part in a global competition. ISC was also an avenue to embrace the UN's 17 sustainable goals.
