The real litmus test of education happens when the student goes an extra mile forward in the service for the society. It is when the student imbibes the empathy along with education and takes a leap of faith not for himself/herself, but for the needy and deprived ones, so that they can get the taste of education and awareness. Master Paramvir is the legendary example of such courageous stand and such philanthropic vision. With a servitude imbibed attitude in his personality, Paramvir Singh from Karnal, Haryana is a student of class 12, but has wisdom beyond his age and has taken wise actions for the welfare of society. Paramvir has organised world's longest webinar of 20 hours, where all the participants were children and the topic was a revolution in itself- Drug addiction and child abuse. With more than 600 participants, the event is now followed by more than 8,000 people. World Book Of Records, London appreciates his strong stand stitched strongly with the emotion of servitude and includes him in its Kids' edition-2021. This phenomenal initiative by Paramvir had 12-18 age group's kids participating and the issue itself flare up to the extent to make them come forward and speak on this national, online platform. Paramvir used to teach slum kids free of cost before pandemic, but post pandemic when he went to teach them, he saw a considerable reduction in the number and on being asked, he got a slap of harsh reality. He got to know that most of the children stopped coming to learn because their parents got into drug addiction and child abuse. He felt a part of his soul devastated and that is when he decided to conduct a survey. In this survey, he got to know about the family struggles of the slum kids. Many of the slum kids came up with their stories of child abuse. It was high time that Paramvir took a strong stand and he then decided to reach each family and ask them in person about whether or not they wanted the drug victims to go through the rehabilitation. When the families agreed in unison, Paramvir began providing them facilities and medicines along with family counselling. Paramvir has taken a stand to eradicate the social evils at such an early age and stands as an epitome of inspiration for others of his age. He has biggest visions and intentions to uproot the victims and smoothen their journey towards a better life.
