The duo is known for Indo-Nepal friendship ride on four wheeler despite their physical disabilities
Your present circumstances don't determine where you can go, but they determine where you start. Aerodynamically, a bumble bee should not be able to fly. But the bumble bee doesn't know that so it goes on flying anyway. It doesn't matter, how slow you go as long as you don't stop. The story of Mr. Anuj Tandon & Mr. Amit Jangra is on the similar lines of courage, discipline and perseverance. The duo is specially abled and has crossed the cause ride for Indo-Nepal on four wheeler. World Book of Records, London includes both of them in its India edition-2022.
These are two differently abled people but both have redefined the special abilities in their own ways. Mr. Anuj is a post graduate in health and family welfare management and he is also the Masters of business administration in finance and international business from Kurukshetra University. He is currently working as an asst. Manager in Indian Overseas Bank in Panipat and has worked on the post of district Program manager at Civil surgeon, Panipat. This is not it, he has also bagged many laurels and awards like District level award by Haryana Viklang Avam Mahila Vikar Sangh. State award for outstanding employee under disabled category, Appreciation certificate by IAS Mr. Rakesh Gupta for working as a research associate in the project- Evaluation of Delivery Huts program to Promote Institutional deliveries in Haryana.
Mr. Amit, on the other hand has also not left any stone unturned to prove his mettle. He has done his Masters in social work. He is currently serving as the president of NIFAA (disability wing) and has also served as teacher trainee in govt. Primary school. He has also got his fair share of fame and recognition through a wide range of awards like- Super Ability award, Awarded for plasma donation campaign by NIFAA, awarded by RedCross Society Panipat as motivator during Covid 19 in 2020. Awarded by Jan Dhan Kalyankari Yojna Prachar prasar abhiyan during Covid.
The duo has been an epitome of motivation and reminds us of the story about the elephant being tied to a tiny rope and being unable to break it because he has been conditioned in the childhood that he can't break it. Both Mr. Amit and Mr. Anuj has broken the barriers and have redefined the world of special abilities to the whole world. World Book of Records, London wishes them all the best for their future endeavours.
