London: Miss Kalyani Aneesh Karunakaran of Flintshire, North Wales, United Kingdom, was honoured at World Book of Records 10th Summit and Award Ceremony held at UK Parliament for being included in World Book of Records for having the Longest Hair (46.5 inches) at the age of 7 years, 4 months, and 14 days, officially measured on 8 January 2026. Her extraordinary achievement reflects exceptional care, dedication, and perseverance, making her one of the youngest record holders to receive international recognition in this category. The accomplishment celebrates not only her unique distinction but also the commitment and support of her family in maintaining and preserving her exceptionally long hair.

 

The summit was hosted by Gareth Bacon MP, Member of Parliament for Orpington, and Santosh Shukla, CEO World Book of Records. The proceedings were presided over by Virendra Sharma, senior Labour Party leader.
