World Book of Records (WBR) is one of the leading organizations in international certification of world records. The Committee of the World Book of Records, USA was nominated Ms. Jaspinder Narula, International Singer of Mumbai (Maharashtra) India as Goodwill Ambassador. On this occasion, Ms Jaspinder Narula, International Singer (Mumbai) was felicitated with the certificate of Goodwill Ambassador Honour for her outstanding contribution in promoting the cause of music, Sufism and cultural, through activities of global presence by guests of the ceremony including Dr. Diwakar Sukul (Chairman, World Book of Records, London), Prof. Rajeev Sharma (Prominent Educationist), Shri Prakash Sharma (President, WBR - USA), Usman Khan (Music Director, Mumbai) and other prominent guests. Significantly, Dr. Jaspinder Narula is a Punjabi singer and Bollywood playback singer. She is also a Sufimusic singer. She shot to fame after the duet "Pyar to hona hi tha" with Remo Fernandes from the 1998 film Pyar To Hona Hi Tha for which she won the 1999 Filmfare Best Female Playback Award. She finished PhD in Hindustani classical music from Delhi University in 2008 he excels in singing folk and devotional songs. She has lent her voice to record numerous music albums for a large number of successful Bollywood films like Dulhe Raja, Virasat, Mission Kashmir, Mohabbatein and Bunty aur Babli to name a few.
