Jagtap Dattatray Gangadhar is epitome of vision, servitude and holds the baton of carry forwarding the legacy of education to the deprived ones
If there is one thing which this pandemic taught is that humanity is the basic need for survival and this only pandemic made us realise that receiving humanity often became luxury for many people who were fighting with life and death. But as history repeats itself and there is always a saviour who comes and puts his heart and soul to revive the dead humanity, this time it came in form of Mr. Jagtap Dattatray Gangadhar, an assistant teacher from Pune. He is the man of not just visions and servitude, but he is also the man of actions, who walked many miles to ensure that the education reaches much more deserving yet so deprived minds, i.e. farmers' kids. Right from the awareness programs for rural people to distribution of covid essential resources to even adopting a daughter, he has reflected the finest virtue of being human to the extent of putting question mark to all of us. World Book of Records, London proudly honours the philanthropic mindset of Mr. Jagtap Dattatray. The story of his philanthropy began when he witnessed some farmer kids working at the field in pandemic times and since the school was shut down, he thought to take the onus of teaching these deprived yet dreamy minds. A true visionary and benevolent man by heart, Mr.Dattatray even adopted a girl in his school, when she lost her mother due to covid. His vision towards life includes the inclusion of those which generally cannot access the ease of education. His heart aches seeing the slum kids and rural kids being away from the bright light of education. Mr. Dattatray also is a lover of nature and he made sure that the students too remain close to it so he tweaked the session welcoming ceremony for students. He initiated the advent of cheerful bands welcoming students, while the students came riding on camels. He also ensured computer education to students with the available resources at home. He also made the whole school go digital and with the help society and school, and it is recognised as one of the most beautiful school in village. He is also a Marathi poet, who has written 4 books on poetry collection. His first book talks about the problems of farmers in their day to day lives. The poems are heartwarming and soul shaking and most of them are a tear jerker. His other three books also talk about the burning social issues. His second book is published by the Member of Parliament Dr. Amol Kolhe. His third book talks about the burning issues of education system and the book was published by Marathi deputy CM Mr. Ajitdada Panwar. His fourth book has embossed women centric issues where he has been wished well by social worker and Padma Sri Sindhutai Sapkal.
