London: G.D. Vishnu Ram of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, was honoured at World Book of Records 10th Summit and Award Ceremony held at UK Parliament for his remarkable achievement of being included in World Book of Records as the Fastest Man to Cover 500 Kilometres in Road Cycling While Creating Awareness for Women’s Safety and a Drug-Free India. He accomplished this extraordinary feat by completing the 500-kilometre journey in 15 hours and 8 minutes, commencing from Dhanushkodi at 3:30 PM on 6 December 2025 and concluding in Coimbatore at 6:38 AM on 7 December 2025. Beyond setting an exceptional endurance record, the cycling expedition carried a powerful social message, raising awareness about women’s safety and promoting the vision of a drug-free India. 

 

The summit was hosted by Gareth Bacon MP, Member of Parliament for Orpington, and Santosh Shukla, CEO World Book of Records. The proceedings were presided over by Virendra Sharma, senior Labour Party leader.
