Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ (Former Union Minister for Education & Chief Minister) receives the certificate of World Book of Records

For successful live telecast of 50 episodes on social media platforms on the literature of Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ from 16 February 2021 to 20 March 2022.

New Delhi: Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ Author & Former Union Minister for Education Dehradun (Uttarakhand) India has received the certificate of World Book of Records for the successful live telecast of 50 episodes on social media platforms on the literature of Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ from 16 February 2021 to 20 March 2022. The Certificate was presented to Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ by Tithi Bhalla (General Secretary, WBR). On this grand occasion, Dr. Mahendranath Pandey (Union Minister, Govt. of  India), Dr. Rajneesh Kumar (Vice Chancellor, Mahatma Gandhi International University), Dr. Govind Singh (President, NBT), Dr. Sumitra Kukreti (Pro Vice Chancellor, IGNOU), Dr. Ramesh Pandey (Former Vice Chancellor, Lal Bahadur Shastri Sanskrit Vishvavidyalaya and other esteemed guests were present. Significantly, he has written novels, stories and poems. He has authored 44 books in Hindi, some of which have been translated to English as well as other Indian languages. Most of his books were published by two private publishers – Vani Prakashan and Diamond Books, and many were published between 2009 and 2011, when he was chief minister of Uttarakhand. One of his works was adapted into the Garhwali film Major Nirala, which was produced by his daughter Aarushi Nishank and released in 2018. He is honoured by Hindi Writers Guild, Canada in 2021 and was conferred with the "Sahitya Gaurav Samman". On being recognized by World Book of Records, London (UK), Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ was congratulated by Shri Virendra Sharma (Member of Parliament, England), Dr. Diwakar Sukul (Chairman, World Book of Records, London), Shri Santosh Shukla (Advocate, Supreme Court of India) and other dignitaries from international scenario.
