TV Journalist  Dr. Praveen Tiwari has been recorded in World Book of Records, London (U.K.)  under the title "First ever to have  Ph.D. on  Political Cartooning". It was the very first Ph.D. Done by any journalism researcher in 2007 from DAVV Indore. This research was done under the Guidance of Dr. Man Singh Parmar who’s the Vice Chancellor of Kushabhau Thackrey Journalism University. This thesis is also going to be published in a book form having its preface written by legendary cartoonist late Sudhir Tailang.

Honorable Kalraj Mishra, Union Cabinet Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Dr. Diwakar Sukul, Chairman, World Book of Records gave the certificate to Dr. Praveen Tiwari at World Book of Records Summit organized at Indore, M.P. (India). His father veteran Janwadi writer Shriram Tiwari collected the award along with him.
