Kerala: Dr. G. Pushparajan from Thrissur, has earned international acclaim by cultivating the world’s longest okra measuring an astounding 22.3 inches. This agricultural marvel was achieved using advanced mutation breeding techniques, showcasing his expertise and innovation in the field of botanical science. His exceptional achievement has been officially recognized by World Book of Records, placing him among global pioneers in agricultural innovation.
 
The prestigious felicitation ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including Former Governor of Rajasthan Kalraj Mishra, Former Governor Justice Vishnu Sadashiv Kokje, Padma Shri Bhajan Samrat Anup Jalota, Special DGP Varun Kapoor (Madhya Pradesh Police), Prof. Rajeev Sharma, and Member of Parliament from Indore, Shankar Lalwani.
