Having all 3 in someone is like finding that much needed jackpot in any leader. The legendary saga of Mr. Pulkit Khare from Pilibhit is no less than an epitome of utmost inspiration. Mr. Pulkit, who is the district election officer in Pilibhit has put some innovative spark to pep-up all the voters in his town with handmade 'thank you' cards which are 5 lacs in number. He has pre-planned about the cards to increase the voting awareness and to strengthen the voting initiative in his district. This initiative he has conduced under the 'Sveep' mission of 'Election Commission of India'. At the advent of the event, a campaign of greeting card making, was conducted in all the schools and colleges of the district. The activity began on 14th feb,2022 and got over on 16th feb, 2022. This activity was the largest activity in the district where the participation of students was more than 2.5 lacs. Those 2.5 lacs students prepared the 'Thank You' card for voting.
He has also set previous record where District Election Officer Mr. Pulkit Khare in Pilibhit was well aware of this fact of people not utilising his voting power and wanted to fill up the gap of people's realisation of voting power. He has set the record of organising the longest voting related enquiry session online for 7.5 hours.
The session kickstarted by district election Officer in the presence of third party witness. There were around 487 participants whom Mr. Khare addressed. He began with shedding light on the importance of voting for every Indian. Post which, the session gained momentum by various questions by participants which were addressed one by one through District Election Officer, other senior Magistrates. By the time the session was over at 5:30 pm, there were 1130 people in total who attended it.
It was previously announced that in this webinar, any questions related to youth vote bank, students, women safety and growth, third gender and normal voting rights related questions can be asked. This is first time in history that this long webinar has been not just conducted for the sake of it, but it was well executed.
