District Administration Panipat, Haryana has been honoured by World Book of Records, London for  organizing Panipat Pinkathon 2019 on 08 March 2019 having highest women participation including 55,458 women in it.

Ms. Sumedha Kataria, Deputy Commissioner of Panipat (Haryana) was bestowed with the certificate of honour by  Dr. Bharat Sharma and  Shri Ravi Kant Sharma an official adjudicator of World Book of Records. This was informed by Shri Santosh Shukla (President, World Book of Records).

On this occasion, on behalf of Chief Minister Shro Manoharlal, Shri Pramod Viz (President BJP, Haryana) was present along with District Collector, SP, ADM,SDM and other administrative officers were present.

Significantly, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal described the Panipat Pinkathon for women organised in Panipat on the occasion of International Women’s Day as first-of-its kind programme in the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched the Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao programme from Panipat on January 22, 2015.

On being recognized by World Book of Records, London UK, Ms. Sumedha Kataria was congratulated by Shri Virendra Sharma (Member of Parliament, England), Dr. Diwakar Sukul (Chairman, World Book of Records, London), Shri Santosh Shukla (President, World Book of Records) and other dignitaries from international scenario.
