India: Colonel Neeraj Rana, the director of ABVIMAS along with his 12 other team members from ABVIMAS (Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Adventure Sports) in Manali have set record of crossing the river Beas on majorly uncharted routes in the total span of 230 kms. The record was attempted from 23rd to 26th October, 2020. Amidst this life threatening and adventurous venture, only 40 kms stretch was commercial rafting area and rest 190 kms was uncharted and untouched course of river, which was taken up as a challenge by his team and was conquered with all the success and glory. ABVIMAS is an institute for mountaineering and other allied adventurous sports and has 9 branches in Himachal Pradesh itself in which more than 35,000 people have been trained. The Certificate of Inclusion was digitally presented to Colonel Neeraj Rana by the officials of WBR.
