India: Dr. Chandra Mouli Varma from Bangalore (Karnataka) India, gets included by World Book of Records for remembering and reciting all 700 shlokas of Bhagvad Geeta in minimum time of 73 minutes on 27th Jan, 2020 at 5:12pm to 6:25pm in Bellary, Karnataka. Remembering all the 700 shlokas by heart is something extra-ordinary in it and thus World Book of Records, UK astonishingly admires the persistence, perseverance and passion of this lord Krishna devotee and includes him in its India edition - 2020. The aforementioned information was provided by Mr. Santosh Shukla (President, WBR). Dr. Chandra Mouli feels that in current times, where everything is digital and we are breathing the internet in, the need to go back to the ancient wisdom is utmost important. He is currently teaching the wisdom and shlokas of Shrimad Bhagvad Geeta to children ranging from the age of 7 years to 14 years. There are about 40 children learning the Vedic knowledge and they come twice a day (morning and evening) to learn the intricacies of Shrimad Bhagvad Geeta. There is also a special class, which is held on Sunday to be attended by everyone including the adults and deprived class. In this class, Shrimad Bhagvad Geeta is discussed in details and efforts are put to increase Vedic awareness. Dr. Chandra Mouli has been a doctor by profession, but he left everything and joined the service of lord Krishna in ISCKON. It has been 10 years, since the erudite, Vedic scholar has not looked back and has been teaching the knowledge and wisdom of Shrimad Bhagvad Geeta to both the children and adults. On being asked about further plans to spread the wisdom of Shrimad Bhagvad Geeta, Dr. Chandra Mouli reveals that ISCKON is planning to open Gurukul across the India to impart the Vedic education.
