Border Roads Organization, (Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India) gets included by World Book of Records

For providing supply line and all-weather connectivity to the Indian Army as World's Highest Bailey Suspension Bridge at Km 23 on D-S-DBO Rd at 11960 ft in Ladakh (UT)

Pune: The World Book of Records has announced that Border Roads Organization, 50 BRTF/ PROJ HIMANK / BRO, Durbuk, Ladakh (UT) India has been included by World Book of Records for providing supply line and all-weather connectivity to the Indian Army as World's Highest Bailey Suspension Bridge at Km 23 on D-S-DBO Rd at 11960 feet from August 2006 to March 2009. The certificate was bestowed to Hon’ble Shri Ajay Bhatt (Minister of State for Defence, Govt. of India ) and Lieutenant General Rajeev Chaudhry (VSM, BRO) by Dr. Rajeev Shrivastav and Mrs. Kavita Shrivastav (officials of WBR) along with dignitaries. On being recognized by World Book of Records, the officials of Border Roads Organisation Durbuk were congratulated by Central Working Committee of World Book of Records and other dignitaries from international scenario.
