Baby Krittika Mondal from (West Bengal), India gets included by World Book of Records

Little Krittika has set world record for identifying 195 countries with capitals from national flags at the age of just 2 years 8 months

Childhood is made up of mouldable clay through which you can form any shape. If the shape is in line with their inclination, then it always adds brownie points to their holistic growth. Then it doesn't matter whether the child is from but brilliance overshadows everything. Little Kritika's story bespoke such brilliance and showcases the little one's curiosity as the major building block in her evolvement. Kritika who is just 2 years 8 months old, can identify all 195 countries by their flags. As if this is not enough, the little Einstein also tells the capitals of various states. World Book of Records, London is amazed at such talent and includes her in its Kids edition 2021.

Kritika's brilliance took another level when she was just 2 years and though her parents could see her photographic memory, but the eureka moment came when her parents got her international flags. There were 40 of them and her parents just showed her once and then after few days when they asked her, little Kritika recalled all of them correctly. This was a magical realisation to her parents who hail from a very tiny town in West Bengal named as Kalyan.

Her parents decided to take it forward and got her all the international flags flash cards and the little genius did not fail to astonish them. A journey which began as a game with 40 flags, became a saga of Kritika being the child prodigy is something  awe inspiringly story-worthy.

On being asked about her favourite sports, Kritika loves to play outdoors and loves to play hide and seek. Cartoons on TV are her love and she often plays interactive games on mobile. The reason of her becoming the child prodigy not just lies in curiosity, but also in her parents' attitude to figure her interests out.

Kritika is a person who doesn't need a push and whatever she likes, she does it whole heartedly and comes by herself to initiate the flag recognising game. She loves to roam around with her tiny bandwagon of innocent kids and loves the idea of taking free decisions.
