Ayrin is the youngest kid to identify maximum number of species of birds in just 7 minutes 6 seconds at the age of 1 year 6 months 17 days.
Children between the ages of 2 and 7 may be the most intelligent humans on the planet if intelligence is characterized by the ability to learn. During this critical period, children's brains can absorb information in a unique way.Toddlers are in the ‘Dawning of Thought stage’ between the ages of 18 and 24 months. They start to realise that one thing can represent another.Having said that, at the age of 1 year, 6 months, and 17 days, baby Ayrin from Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka, has set the record for the youngest child to identify 73 species of birds in just 7 minutes. Her unbelievable talent has been recognised by the World Book of Records, London and she gets included in the Kids Edition-2021.
Ayrin was able to identify all of the bird species using flash cards. She has always wanted to play with the brightly coloured pictures, and she keeps a collection of tiny flash cards with her. She asks for her cards every time she wakes up. Her parents were very supportive of her curiosity and used to rarely tell her the names of the pictures. Her mother once asked her to show her a card by telling the name of an animal while she was playing cards with her cousin. Surprisingly, she demonstrated the correct one. Her mother then continued to question her, and she miraculously showed all of the pictures correctly. That day, that moment, her mother realised her little angel has a fantastic memory.
Ayrin's parents gradually began to encourage her abilities and began to give her more and more pictures of fruits, vegetables, vehicles, and flowers, among other things. She was able to identify over 500 pictures by the age of one and a half years. When their relatives' children began to sing rhymes, Ayrin began to correctly sing all of those rhymes (more than 25 rhymes), despite the fact that her parents rarely allowed her for the screen time. She is currently one year and nine months old. She hasn't started school yet. Her mother and other family members teach her so much simply by playing with her. Starting with phonics sounds, numbers in four languages, practising and identifying national leaders, and teaching her to narrate short stories, among other things. Her extraordinary talent has been recognised by the Asia book of records.
Ayrin's hobbies include playing with her toys and pets, collecting and displaying flash cards, moulding clay shapes, and doodling with colours. Her mother claims that Ayrin's late grandmother was her main support and literally prayed for the baby, who was still in the womb, to become very intelligent, and that she is the reason why her mother applied for a world record for this little girl.
