Mr. Srinivasan is known for being the only individual performing solo cycling from Kashmir to Kanyakumari in just 14 days while covering the distance of 3677 kms
Life is just like a bicycle, one needs to keep a balance to keep moving. But Mr. B. Srinivasan has done it the other way around too. He has ridden bicycle and this cycling has become his life and ultimately he has embraced the holistic balance when he became a professional cycle rider. 7 years of cycling are no less than 7 vows of a Hindu wedding which signify unfailing dedication. 7 years, numerous kilometers and unfathomable faith, Mr. Srinivasan's story is nothing but a beautiful legend which will leave goosebumps in your body and true motivation in your heart. With his uttermost serious dedication, this wonderful cycling enthusiast has crossed 3677 kms in just 14 days while marking his victorious glory on the path from Kashmir to Kanyakumari in India. World Book of Records, London is astonished and proud to witness this phenomenal solo victory and includes him in its India edition-2022.
The story behind this glorious victory stems from his incessant desire to mark his imprints in some different way or to redefine the history of cycling. He researched a lot and found out that many people had crossed the distance of Kashmir to Kanyakumari but all of them had done it in groups. This turned out to be his eureka moment where he took the onus of doing it all alone and making it a one man show. The biggest challenge, however, was looming large like a question mark- He had to be acutely careful during this journey. Moreover the journey was more about having mental strength than the physical one. But Mr. Srinivasan had buckled up well and his will power exhibited the results.
Lonely roads, proper rest, several hours of non-stop cycling, forlorn forests and accommodation along with health issues, was something he had to cope up on daily basis. He began from minus 4 degrees and then the temperature kept on rising every day and this sudden change had to be accepted by his body and the alignment was of utmost importance. There were shallow valleys and high slopes and dark forests had no lights. Any human soul would have trembled and could have given up, but Mr. Srinivasan kept on going because his inner light was shining and showing him the way. He managed with a torch and crossed UP, MP and Maharashtra border. There was also the longest tunnel which he crossed and in between his cycle chain got derailed, but his courage was not ready to give up. World Book of Records, London wishes him all the best for his future endeavours.
