Indore: Shri Vivek Tankha (Senior Advocate of Supreme Court of India, Member of Parliament- Rajya Sabha) of Madhya Pradesh, India has been honored by Global Pledge Campaign of World Book of Records, UK for serving humanity and dedicated activities in Corona virus pandemic. He was felicitated with a Certificate of Commitment by Advocate Shri Chandra Shekhar Raikwar and Santosh Shukla Advocate Supreme Court (President, World Book of Records). Significantly, Shri Tankha was one of the youngest Advocate Generals of Madhya Pradesh (16 February 1999 to 15 November 2003) he was Designated Senior Advocate by the Full Court of the High Court in 1999. He was offered a Judgeship by the bench of M. P. High Court in April 1998 but he sought forgiveness for personal reasons. He was also the first lawyer from Madhya Pradesh to have been appointed Additional Solicitor General of India. He had played a major role in resolving disputes between Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh after the latter was created in November 2000. Under his pioneering motivation and guidance the foundation has been providing humanitarian services not even in Madhya Pradesh but also in the rest of the country in the Corona virus pandemic.
