Engineering Students Showcase 900 Projects in Unprecedented Event

 

Indore: Presidency University has made history by organizing the world’s largest Innovation Expo, featuring 900 engineering projects developed by 5,000 freshmen and sophomores. This extraordinary event, held on June 3, 2024, showcased groundbreaking ideas and innovations over an 8-hour period, underlining the institution’s commitment to fostering creativity and technological advancement. 

 

The university’s remarkable achievement was recognized by the World Book of Records in a prestigious ceremony held in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Honorable Madhya Pradesh Governor Shri Mangubhai C. Patel presented the World Book of Records certificate to representatives of Presidency University, applauding their role in promoting innovation and education. 

 

The ceremony was graced by an array of esteemed dignitaries, including Mr. Simon N. Ovens DL, HM The King Charles III’s Representative from London; Spiritual Leader HH Shri Rajrajeshwar Guruji; Justice V.K. Shukla of the Madhya Pradesh High Court Bench; Mr. Swapnil Kothari, Chancellor of Renaissance University; Collector Ashish Singh IAS; and Mr. Mahendrasinh C. Jadeja from London. 

 

Prominent educationist Prof. Dr. Rajeev Sharma and delegates from countries such as the United States, Switzerland, the UK, Nepal, Dubai, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Romania, Canada, Mauritius, and representatives from 25 Indian states added to the ceremony’s grandeur. 

 

Presidency University expressed pride in the achievement, emphasizing their vision to nurture the next generation of innovators. The recognition affirms the university’s role as a leader in engineering education and its dedication to empowering young minds globally.
