Master Srihan R. Renjith Enters World Book of Records for Altitude Skating Feat
Youngest to Skate at 12,500 Feet, Demonstrates Exceptional Endurance
Indore : Four-year-old Master Srihan R. Renjith, a child prodigy from Bengaluru, has made history by being the youngest to skate at an altitude of 12,500 feet. On August 20, 2024, Srihan achieved this remarkable feat on the Durbuk-Pangong Lake Road in Ladakh, skating for 6 minutes and 40 seconds over a distance of 1.8 kilometers in a challenging environment with just 59% oxygen levels.
This extraordinary accomplishment has earned Srihan a place in the World Book of Records, highlighting his exceptional physical and mental resilience at such a young age. His achievement not only sets a new benchmark for young athletes but also brings attention to the capabilities of children to excel in extreme conditions.
The recognition ceremony was attended by esteemed dignitaries, including Mr. Simon N. Ovens DL, HM The King Charles III’s Representative from London; Spiritual Leader HH Shri Rajrajeshwar Guruji; Justice V.K. Shukla from the Madhya Pradesh High Court Bench; Mr. Swapnil Kothari, Chancellor of Renaissance University; and Collector Ashish Singh IAS, among others.
