ICAI Committee on Career Counselling Enters World Book of Records UK

New Delhi, India: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) – Committee on Career Counselling has been included in World Book of Records UK, for organizing one of the largest coordinated career guidance initiatives in the field of accounting and finance.

ICAI achieved this landmark recognition for successfully conducting 393 sessions of “Career in Accounting & Finance for Youth (CAFY 4.0)” along with the Super Mega Career Counselling Programme titled “?????? ?? ???. The nationwide programme was held simultaneously on 27 November 2025 across 87 ICAI branches, guiding an impressive 1,20,796 students at the same time.

The historic initiative witnessed participation from 5 Regional Councils and 185 ICAI branches across the country, supported by a strong and dedicated network of over 2,000 active career counsellors. A total of 87 ICAI branches were specially aligned and synchronized to ensure the seamless execution of this mega counselling programme, making it one of the largest coordinated career counselling efforts ever undertaken in India.

World Book of Records UK formally recognized the achievement during an award ceremony graced by CA. Charanjot Singh Nanda, President of ICAICA. Prasanna Kumar D, Vice President of ICAI, along with members of the Central Council of ICAI. The Certificate of Recognition was presented by Apoorva Menon, Chartered Officer of World Book of Records UK, acknowledging ICAI’s outstanding contribution to youth career guidance.

This prestigious inclusion in World Book of Records highlights ICAI’s unwavering commitment to empowering students with informed career choices and strengthening the future of the accounting and finance profession through large-scale, structured, and impactful career counselling initiatives.
