Dr. Shweta Singh Uma Honoured by World Book of Records for Global Promotion of Hindi and Arts
Moscow/London: Dr. Shweta Singh Uma, an eminent Indian artist, writer, and cultural ambassador based in Moscow, has been honoured by World Book of Records for her outstanding contribution to art, literature, and the global promotion of Hindi. The recognition was conferred at WBR Head Office by CEO Santosh Shukla.
A multifaceted personality, Dr. Uma has been residing in Moscow for over 28 years, actively promoting Indian culture, Hindi language, and various art forms. She is widely recognized as a film producer, fashion designer, poet, sculptor, stylist, singer, florist, and radio jockey. Her dedication to artistic expression and continuous exploration of creative dimensions has earned her international acclaim.
Academically accomplished, she holds degrees in Political Science and History from India, along with a postgraduate qualification in Fashion Designing. She further pursued international design courses, a diploma in Sculpture and Modelling in Russia, and studied the Russian language at Pushkin State Russian Language Institute. She has also been awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Cuneo.
Professionally, Dr. Uma founded “The Creative Paradise,” a multimedia and design company in Moscow dedicated to art, media, and literature, now also engaged in film production. She serves as President of the “Voice of Moscow” platform, organizing literary and cultural events, and is also a brand ambassador for the Ayurveda magazine published in Moscow.
As a radio jockey, her popular shows “Dil Se Re” and “Yaadein Yaad Aati Hai” have gained wide listenership. Her musical works, including the album Nayab and music video Imtihan, along with her recent Chhath song album, have been appreciated globally.
Through her literary contributions—poetry, ghazals, and international ??? performances—Dr. Uma continues to inspire, bridging cultures and promoting Hindi worldwide.
