Baqar Nasser Sets Record with “The Great Indian Spin” Cycling in Mumbai

Mumbai, Maharashtra, India: Baqar Nasser, a fitness enthusiast from Mumbai, has been recognized for successfully organizing “The Great Indian Spin,” a remarkable mass cycling marathon that brought together 153 participants aged between 10 and 74 years.

The ceremony, held on March 22, 2026, witnessed participants performing simultaneous cycling for two continuous hours on stationary bikes, showcasing endurance, unity, and a shared commitment to fitness. This large-scale initiative earned recognition for its unique concept and disciplined execution.

Aligned with the Fit India Movement under the Sports Authority of India, the event reinforced the national vision of promoting a healthier and fitter society. The programme was graced by eminent personalities including Amruta Fadnavis and Suniel Shetty as Chief Guests, with the latter also having been trained by Baqar Nasser. Distinguished Guests of Honour included Dr. Habil Khorakiwala and Pandurang Chate.
