Umashankar Pandey 'Jal Yodha' of Banda (Uttar Pradesh) India gets honoured by World Book of Records, London

Shri Umashankar Pandey 'Jal Yodha' (Sarvoday Adarsh Jal Gram Swarajya Abhiyan Samiti) of Banda (Uttar Pradesh) India gets honoured by World Book of Records has been honoured for matchless contribution in traditional water conservation techniques campaign in Jakhni village popularly known as ‘Jalgram’ (water village), in the drought-hit Banda district of Uttar Pradesh making it a water self sufficient village. The certificate of honour was presented to Shri Umashankar Pandey by  Ms. Sonia Rawat (President , World Book of Records - Delhi) , Shri Vishwapati Trivedi, IAS (Former Secretary, Govt. of India) along with other prominent guests.  On being honoured by World Book of Records, London (UK), Shri Umashankar Pandey 'Jal Yodha' was congratulated by Shri Virendra Sharma (Member of Parliament, England), Dr. Diwakar Sukul (Chairman, World Book of Records, London), Shri Santosh Shukla (President, World Book of Records, London ) and other dignitaries.
