Bengaluru, Karnataka: Raja Ravi Varma Heritage Foundation has been officially included in World Book of Records for its exemplary dedication to preserving and promoting the artistic legacy of one of India’s most celebrated painters, Raja Ravi Varma. Known for his realistic techniques, intricate detailing, sublime colour palette, and ability to capture deep emotion, Raja Ravi Varma painted over 2,000 works that brought Indian mythology and royalty vividly to life.
The certification ceremony was held at the Foundation’s premises in Bengaluru, Karnataka, in a dignified gathering that celebrated India’s rich cultural and artistic heritage. The certificate was formally presented to Rukmini Varma, Chairperson of RRVHF; Gitanjali Maini, Managing Trustee & CEO, Jay Varma, Trustee; Manu S. Pillai, Lead Researcher; and Dr. Choodamani Nandagopal, Tagore and UNESCO Fellow, Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) and National Museum, New Delhi.
