Shri Varun Kapoor, IPS (Additional Director General of Police, Madhya Pradesh has been felicitated with Bharat Kirtiman Alankaran for matchless contribution in fields of justice, social and cultural spheres to serve society. On receiving the Samman, Shri Varun Kapoor, IPS (Additional Director General of Police said that the Galvanized Brand of World Book of Records is Known for its Commitment and Enthusiasm.
Significantly, he has been a recipient of World Book of Records London – Maximum Number of cyber security awareness workshops by any one person anywhere in the world (2018) , World Book of Records London – Reopening & solving the maximum number of cold cases of murder by any one police officer anywhere in the world (2019) and First Police Officer in Asia to be awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Cyber Security (Indore University).He has also been Deputy Training Coordinator, Gorazde Canton – United Nations Mission in Bosnia & Herzegovina (UNMIBH) and Chief of Research, Mission HQ Sarajevo – United Nations Mission in Bosnia & Herzegovina (UNMIBH).
